Some Tassie Holiday Shots

1 - 4: The Old Pier at Bridport in atrocious weather. Friends of ours were on the Spirit of Tassie doing circle work in this for 2 hours before they could safely get into port. Those that could, flew home.
5: Peacock at Cataract Gorge
6: Great Oyster Bay from somewhere near Mayfield Bay (I think).
7: Sunset at Lillico while waiting for the penguins.
8: An average pano of Hobart from Mt Wellington (taken at some enormous wind speed).

More to follow.

Al.

Nice to see you enjoyed our surrounds Al, sometimes it takes someon elses perspective before you appreciate your own surrounds. If you're curious as to how the old pier looks on a nice day http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/a...se.php?a=31003

Thanks Phil. That does look much more pleasant.

I actually saw a couple of very nice photos of the pier in an art gallery / coffee shop in Scottsdale which was the catalyst for the detour to Bridport on such a miserable day...
