Nice work Sean, you gotta be happy with that!
You can also try the other planets as well. You've got a big image scale with the moon, you could take some photos of the different parts of the moon and stitch them into the one image also. If you have windows live picture gallery on you computer (think its fairly standard), it can do it automatically for you.

Well done,

Rusty

WELL DONE SEAN!!!

Yes, your image scale is GOOD! Here is my native image scale with my refractor - quite the difference!!!

Hi Sean. Great pic!

Is this like the one you bought? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/T2-T-Moun...item2ec764b1ac

I have an A35. How did you use the above to attach the camera to the telescope?

Cheers,

Greg.

That's the exact same Ring i bought and from the same seller! I currently own a Barlow which has the T-thread on the top which screws into the T-Ring, so if you don't already have a Barlow or adapter for the telescope you should look into buying one, other wise most reflectors have a T-thread where the eyepiece adapter would go. If you have a look at my youtube channel, i have a recent video where i show how to attach the camera to the scope!

Hi Sean, your video prompted me to check my seldom used barlow and to my delight, there was a thread! Dirt cheap T ring now acquired and off I go!
Cheers.

I've got a couple of Sony alpha T adapters off ebay and they are pretty shoddy.
The 2" Ultrawide Prime Focus ones from http://www.telescopeadapters.com/ are much better pieces of engineering. The no undercut version is probably the better choice. I have the undercut version and it doesn't easily lock down in one of my focusers.

Hi Andrew,
Interesting link. Their 1.25" variable projection kit is mighty cheap. Oddly enough, I purchased this morning the Bintel Variable Projection Camera Adapter which was/is reduced from $59 to $29. A bargain I thought!
