M20-m57-m83 10"-sct F 6.3

Hi All,
Had one more clear night after all the rain and cloud, so results herewith, all Pix. are cropped, All are 4 x 6 Min. Exp. at ISO-800, DF removed, taken with the LX200 10" sct + F-6.3 Focal Reducer, guided using an ED80 + MX7C, M57 is a really small object (70 x 150 arc. Sec.) for this setup, but the colour came out well.

cheers................Jim

Very Nice trio Jimmy and a good nights work!

Nice to be able to get all colours in one shot, I'm jealous!

Can't help but think that you could get better resolution outa that gear though...? How do you focus?

Thanks for the look

Mike

Hi All,
Thanks for the comments, and MIKE, Focus is done using a 2x magnifier thru the Camera viewfinder, I have DSLR Focus but find it a bit slow, I feel that with the 10" sct resolution is limited using this Camera, the ED80 produces better results as regards Focus, The 10" sct is better at F-5.6 (focal reducer) than at F10, but in either case the colour is fantastic, much better than I used to get with the MX7C Camera.

cheers......Jim
