Mountains Rising from the Sea

One thing I loved about Far North Queensland, is how the mountains rise up from the sea.

This photo was taken at Ellis Beach, just like the last one, but just off the Captain Cook Highway looking to the North on a very beautiful morning.

Hi Mike,

Man, I am estimating you would have been less than 50m from where we were
staying when you took this. It would have been great to have you come up
to the house for morning tea. The kids would have loved the pool and I recollect
you mentioned your wife had picked up a bug and she could have just lounged back
in one of the pool lounges soaking in the view. Plus we had a family member with us
who was a one-time NSW professional photographer of the year and who happens
to specialize in landscapes.

Snapshot attached I took from the deck, probably on the afternoon of the day of the
eclipse, which would be directly above where you are standing.

Thanks Roger and Gary.

I did see some houses up on the hill Gary, and would've loved to have taken photos from there. I should've got in touch!
