A quick reload on M16

M16 - The Eagle Nebula in Serpens.

A quick 45 mins of exposure, taken last night and although the seeing was terrible but I was glad to at least SEE the sky after all this rain and cloud. 9 x 5 min subexposures taken with the Atik 314L+ through the 8" Skywatcher reflector on an HEQ5 Pro. One of these days I will get more than 1 hour of exposures captured in one go, but in the mean time I can just live with what I can get.

I cleaned my Primary mirror on Sunday which seemed to help with contrast, so I am glad to have spent time finally getting around to removing the spots and dust accumulated at IISAC.

Cheers

Chris

I'll say Ross, I am out again tonight! Light winds are playing havoc, but I am having fun at least!

Thanks

Chris
