Hey Asimov, garage sale SCORE!

Did the usual rounds of garage sales with the wife this morning. In the 4 years we have been doing it (mainly for kids toys for our 4 y.o - no sense buying new when they grew tired of them so fast), I have bought myself SFA, apart from some powertools, saws, and a Kirby vacuum (for $20!!! Over $1000 new - I don't think they realised!!!).

Anyway, I got this:

http://www.amazon.com/Colonial-Marin...lonial+marines

Wife said NO. So, when she went to have her pregnancy nap today, I snuck out, and they still had it... $20 later it was MINE, ALL MINE!!! I'll photograph it when I have it on the display shelf. It's a NICELY detailed model!

Now I need to get me some of the NECA Prometheus figures, mainly the Deacon of course, and an Engineer.

For anyone that wants it, I am selling the XBox game itself that comes with it on the non-astronomy trader for $15 including postage.

An excellent score! I don't suppose I could blackmail you into selling it to me, or I'll tell the missus....?

UPDATE: wife saw it and promptly proclaimed "I knew you would go back and get it". She's cool with it, but insisted my display collection was downsized - so, I boxed up 37 models, and left 8 select ones on display, along with this diorama. Reasonable compromise
