M8 M20 Widefield unmodded DSLR

M8 M20 and others. Taken August 2011. View from a distance. Resampling and conversion to jpeg is not brilliant. Processing in Pixinsight, post processing in StarTools. Very little needed. Mostly saturation. With the modded camera and cooling I want to image the same area for comparison.

Thanks Paula. Hopefully, there will be time for new images this year. Cold turkey at the moment.

Thanks Larry. I have some grand ideas for widefields this winter. Perhaps, maybe, possibly, depending on numerous factors - one will do.

A great presentation of tonal range. The vibrancy of the star cloud colours really sets this image apart. Well done Rowland.

Thanks Hugh.

Thanks Jase. High praise indeed. I think the camera and lens settings were just about right, by the looks of it, aside from the lack of rich Ha.

Camera is now modified, just getting a sensible cooling system sorted out, on a budget.
