Saturn 15th March

SPX350 F34.5, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters. above avg seeing 1445hrs UT 15.3.13.

My first go at Saturn this year after 5 months of bad weather here in Brisbane. Wind started to settle at 10pm. Got my best image first off at 56 degrees alt, as Saturn climbed seeing got worst until cloud came at 3am. Still at least I have started.

Wow, it is great shot and so beautiful result after the 5 months of bad weather in Brisbane. Congratulation John about these images of Saturn. I like the colour and you have lot of details. I think you have one moon on the right side.

A great start for Saturn - yes the weather here has been awful so far this year. The subtle ring bands looks good in the mono image!
