Solar image 6th Jan

Taken from central Victoria this morning 3rd Jan - through a 60 mm Solarmax II SS scope using a Canon 550d camera. First image of the disc showing a row of small sunspots - 1/200 sec and 200 iso. North is to lower right.
Second image of a series of prominences around the Sun's southern pole region (up) 1/100 sec and 400 iso. Cheers for the new solar year.
