Jupiter 20-05-06 Test shoot

OKay clouds parted long enough for me to get a series of shots in. The main aim was to do some tests and see how the "Barlow" performed. Well after trying to keep jupiter in the middle of the CCD and trying to capture aswell, I managed to get about 4 AVI's, this one was from the best one. Keep in mind I had my hand on the scope so probably inducing vibrations, and seeing was only about 6/10.

After running 150 frames through registax I put minimal wavelets on #'s 6, 5, and 4, nothing on 1, 2 or 3. Actual figures were 4- 7.8, 5- 9.1, and 6- 19.9. Resized B-Spline 150%.

Now what I noticed was that it wasn't CA as I first thought but I think its got something to do with the coatings on the lens itself. It is leaving a yellow band around the disk of Jupiter, any thoughts?

Also I noticed some shadowing on the left hand side extending away from the planet.

Other than that I am pleased with the results so far.

I would love to hear what the experts think on this.

I hope you dont mind Lester, I stole one of your images from this post http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=10124 since it was taken about the same time as mine to show the comparison between the two, also to see how much detail I actually got.
