3. Scrabble (any word(s) related game)
4. Stud Poker(Texas Poker)
5. Supreme Commander

I play a browser-based game called Kingdomsof Camelot... Was originally a Facebook game, but now on Kabam.com

Looks pretty simple at first glance, but there's a lot of intricate strategy which goes into it... Plus the ability to chat and form alliances, met a few great people on there...

I do like a good game of Texas no limit Hold em Poker.
I have an octagonal poker table and professional chip set.
But it is hard finding enough for a good round.
It usually gets an outing on Christmas after lunch.

And my favourite Board Game is Pictionary, but, again, no one will play it with us (me and the missus).
We are good at it and generally win by three quarters of the board length. Even when we are trying to play slow to let others catch up.
Its a in joke here that when the Pictionary comes out, it is time to go home.
For some reason or other, the other team(s) generally end up in a domestic.

Anyone interested in either of the above?

Alan's post reminded me (and sorry of this is a tad off-topic) but, years ago, a few of my friends and I would get together every Tuesday night for board games - Pictionary was one, but also Risk, Trivial Pursuit, and a few others I can't remember right now. It was simple fun, but effective (and, importantly, cheap, since we weren't rich).

I sometimes play an old arcade game, Galaga, on a MAME emulator - it's good for a bit of light fun.

At the moment my favourite game is "gunna" - that's all the computer games I buy, install and that I'm "gunna" play when I get around to it ....

Counter-Strike - the pace, gameplay, round length, chat, addons, cost, skill. All came together to make an amazingly fun game that stands the test of time.

Assassin's Creed. Altair > All.

I don't like where it's going with the new ones though, I prefer to sneak around with the hidden blade and throwing knives rather than use all the gadgets they've got now.

Also the original Call of Duty, Medal of Honour, and Raven Shield at LAN parties. I don't really like playing multiplayer online, there's something strangely satisfying about being able to throw cold pizza at someone when you lose.

Supreme Commander is brilliant, every bit as good as the original Total Annihilation (Keep an eye out for another sequel ).

Settlers of Catan (board game) is fantastic - wife and I are huge fans, and have most of the expansions and add-ons (the Traders and Barbarians expansion is probably my favourite).
Also:
Ticket to Ride
Risk
500 (an old favourite from uni days)
and most recently, Mahjong
