Geminids, Missed By That Much…?

Well I went out to view the Geminids last night around 2:00am and visually saw around 10 to 15 of them so I set up the camera 1st pointing in the direction of Orion as there were quite a few coming from that general area, 50 shots later and nothing from that area they were all now visible around Crux so I pointed the camera there and 100 shots later nothing. At least I saw the spectacular show visually for around half an hour but no good shots taken. It seems by about 3:00am the show was all but over.

I looked through all the shots hoping to find at least 1 good one and found I just caught one on the edge of the shot.

It was a pity to waste so much data even though there was a lot of light pollution from nearby lights, so I stacked the images with these results.

I had the same experience. Saw lots visually, but captured none.

I'll have to double check, but I think the only one I caught on Thursday morning was when I was framing the area around the SCP before taking a few shots in that direction. Assume unkind words about Sydney light pollution.
