Plans for Xmas?

Will be having a nice lunch at home with the family like last year (last year we copped the shocking weather!).

What are your plans?

Christmas is this Saturday for me.
My sister and brother, and their family will be at my place for an early dinner followed by some scope time with them all.
Christmas day I spend at home relaxing as the kids will be with their Dad at his families celebrations.

Working........ Probably more sad than happy so

Making big rocks into small rocks, 45+ degree heat, possibly changing motors, or greasing small wheels, telling operators how to run their crushing plant..........

And a little bit happy because I don't have to put up with the father in law whinging about how bad his ex in law family are......... Long story...........

Hope everyone has a great Xmas/holidays.

Last year was great, we managed to avoid everyone and stay home with the kids and have a quiet Christmas for about the first time ever.

Not this year though, my Mum is arriving from Adelaide on Tuesday and then the week after we head down to the south of France on the train cattle class for 6 odd hours to visit the in-laws for Chrissy. It'll be nice to be with the family and all, lots of food, wine, escargot, etc... but it'll be a hectic few days.

Hopefully that will earn us a quiet one next year.

Stay at home hosting our best friends. BBQ breakfast, Bacon, eggs, black pudding, grilled tomatoes, BBQ lunch, Orange encrusted Salmon, BBQ Xmas turkey wrapped in bacon and an orange kumara salad ( spicy and tasty !! )
Plenty of bubbles, more red wine, maybe watch a bluray or two. Take pix, talk rubbish and plans.
Perfect ....

We have the outlaws coming to our place for a bush Christmas this year.

I'm doing a few chooks and a lamb on the spit. It should be a good day.
