10 May Jupiter

Hi everyone,

Cloudy here so still brushing up on my processing.

Jupiter captured at 10 fps Gamma=50%

Gain=40% Saturation=100% Shutter=1/10 second

Tube=1.8 degrees above ambient

That's nice work Lester.

Maybe could do with being made a little brighter in processing? Could be my screen, though.

Nice rippling in the EQ belt.

You have certainly improved with your processing in registax the last few weeks.

Once you get your head around all the options in Picture Publisher, there will be no stopping you!

BTW pic publisher even splits the colour channels...You just have to find it lol.

Top stuff mate, bit cloudy here hope you dont mind me having a go with some processing through Astra image and a little unsharp mask in Images plus on your great shot

I did a bit of unsharp masking in PP, looks like I could have done more.

Dont know if its the best thing to do but using Auto colour in PP seems to do a good job if you havnt got Astra image with balancing the colour and brightening ......keep em coming mate

Just been trying with last nights effort, but an image that is underexposed just wont come to anything much.

Yes, everything has to be pretty good to start with; then the rest of the processing falls into place quite easily.
