"Cairns 2012 Total eclipse shadow band observations.

Anyone who noticed Shadow bands during their observation of today solar eclipse, please record your observations here.

Location: Edmonton Cairns will edit with Lat & long

Where Noticed: Ground - Grassy hill

When: Before Totality

Approx Heading of shadow bands: 245'mag

How prominent? 1-10: 6

Where Noticed: Ground - Dry, rocky soil

When: Before Totality

Approx Heading of shadow bands: 150 but very uncertain about putting a figure on it

How prominent? 1-10: 5
