First Jupiter with LPI

This is from quite a lot of frames, but also through thin cloud cover.
With registax, how do you know what alterations with wavelets will yield a good result? At the moment i just play around with them until i get an improvement, but i feel i could get more out of my pictures.
If anyone wants to do their own processing of this, be my guest, id like to see what i should be aiming for. Send me a pm.

Hi Sheap

Did you save individual frames with the LPI, or did you use the Align and Combine feature before working on the images in Registax?

Also, what 'scope did you use?

Cheers

Dennis

ving's right about the scope, i used k3ccd to get a 5fps avi of it, for a few passes, then used a few programs to get it through (a video tool to get the video up to a larger resolution so it would work with ppmcentre - vdub, ppmcentre and registax.)
