Registax problems

This one has me beat. I've been using Registax 6 to stack video frames recorded from Gstar 4 software. These are deep sky frame integration stacks from a video surveillance camera. It was working fine 2 weeks ago. Went to use it last night and it's just messed up. Firstly the video files all look interlaced. Even the very same video files that were fine 2 weeks ago are now interlaced! Okay, I de-interlace them in Vdub. Then Registax refuses to stack them properly. I can't even make a master dark frame from an AVI.

So I switch computers. Two other computers with different operating systems do the same thing! Computer 1 runs Win7 32, Comp 2 runs Win7 64, Comp 3 runs Win XP SP2. They all used to work up until last night! It doesn't make sense!

I don't have any hair left to tear out, so I've started on my eyebrows. Halp!

Figured out a few things. The interlacing problem turned out to be a codec. Silly me for not using uncompressed.

And Registax 6 is buggy. Very buggy. Installed an old copy of Registax 4 and it works properly.
