For sale is my 2" Mounted OIII NB filter. It's an 'Optics' brand filter, I've got the transmission curves for it and is in perfect condition with no scratches or marks, and includes its original carry case + box. It's peak transmission in the O-III region is around 90%.
I bought it because I didn't want to spend $$$ on NB filters and wanted to see what it was like. It works great with CCDs or Visual alike, when I had my 10" dob I used to use it to view nebulas, it was amazing how much contrast you could get! The only reason I'm selling it is because I decided to get a full set of Baader NB filters so no point in keeping this.
This is perfect for anyone not looking to spend large sums on money on NB filters, for either visual or astrophotography. I think $110 including postage is a reasonable price. PM if interested!
Bumpity Bump guys! Nobody wants a filter for Christmas or NYE for themselves? With summer here we get more clear nights it'll be great to observe with, or atleast try it out in CCD imaging in the Christmas break when you don't have to worry about work the next day!
