Curiosity bites the dust … and spits out some history

The first diffraction pattern on another planet! My other half has an interesting article out at The Conversation - as a crystallographer she's very excited about this one: Curiosity bites the dust … and spits out some history about a little bit of scientific history being made on Mars. The Nasa press release has some more information too.
