Jupiter reprocessed

Nothing much else to do today, cold & wet outdoors so I thought I may as well have another go at reprocessing a jupiter AVI.

Looks really great Asi, such excellent detail there. My only criticism is that the edges are too dark for my liking, but otherwise it's a fantastic result.

The darkened edges are the tried & true Asi-style method of getting rid of onion rings...

Asi, I like that darkening around the edge, it help give Jupiter a 3 dimentional look. The colour and detail are fantastic.

That is a terrific image Asi - how do you do it, just using the standard Celestron focuser, as in a previous post you didn't seem to "believe" in motorised focusers?

Cheers

Thanks all.

It's not that I don't believe in electric focusers Dennis, It's because I'm too tight to pay that amount of money for one!

One day when I have a spare moment I'll build one though. Until then, I'll just take my time tweaking the standard focuser on the SCT.
