NGC 1365 Galaxy

Hi everyone,

Sharing my image of the NGC 1365 barred spiral galaxy.

I had the luck of a cleanish sky and a new moon so I got 240x60sec subs at ISO1600.
Longer then 60 sec subs resulted in washed out orange frames, I'm sure longer subs would reveal more but at least the arms are and bar are visible and I was limited by sky glow.

I'm just happy to have gotten a chance to play.

As coincidence goes, I started shooting NGC1365 tonight!

Looking closely at my first sub so far (in the middle of the run now), I can clearly see 9 galaxies in the shot... will be fascinating to see how many more I can find!

EDIT: sub 2 and up to 12 galaxy count I love this Fornax group.

ISO 400, 300 second exposures, ED100 refractor with ED80 guiding
