Welcome Tantaris

Hi Tantaris,

Welcome to the group.

A body piercer huh! I was a Tattoo Artist until it wrecked my eyes and back and I started going deaf in the right ear.

I am now a semi-retired youth worker and a Rugby League Coach, so as you can tell, you are not amongst a bunch of 'Super-Nerds'.

We is ordinary folk. Just love the skies!

Do you have a scope? What type?

Thanks everyone

I have just started with astronomy about 4 months ago.

I have a Skywatcher 130mm reflector.

This looks like a great forum and I am sure I will be spending quite a lot of time here.

Just beware of Ving and Striker. They'll spy you out and steal any Astro gear you have!

Yeah Laurie and I are the only ones you can trust.

What time do you usually go out?

Welome Laurie, you will find some people are more or less saner than others, but all in all you will always find or suggestions where required.

Often you will get suggestions even though you don't know you need them.

Tony,

Why is your cat pointing it's Rifle at me in the photo that you put in your post. (don't answer that!)

Jason,
Good size scope to start out with.

BEWARE: If you read all the threads in here you will easily be talked into buying huge gear with every attachment known to man. This is an addictive hobby.

Enjoy it!

Be very afraid of Tony(Striker). He even steals off your posts!
