Comet 168P/Hergenrother - Oct 7

Some great images have been posted in recent times, building up interest in this comet. I took this image last night. It is a stack of 33 x 60s exposures with a C11 at f/5 and Atik320 E camera. Native size is 1600x1200, but I have reduced it to 800 x 600 here.

Worth the effort to check this comet out.

-Ivan

Lovely image Ivan.

Checked the comet out last night, and a nice object for sure.

You're welcome Fernando. I think it is helpful when people include some of the details with their images.

Go for it. It's pretty low in the sky, so you will need a reasonably clear NW to N horizon.

Thanks Kevin. A reasonably easy target for 280mm!
