Eta Carina 80 x 400 $200 ar +300d

With Orion gone from my view I have been trying out on Eta Carina. I processed this out of various shots some using colour filters, various iso various exposure times (but none over 100 seconds) Used 80 x400 ar guided with 70 x 600 with illuminated reticle (12mm ) on eq5 mount. The slight trails on the stars is probably more due to me not lining up shots when merging )stacking) them (manually). I know the colour has suffered but I managed more detail (I think) by playing around with it. The scope seems to have a small "optical" problem (elongated stars on right of uncropped shots) but it is a set up that can be carried in and out without disassembling any part.. it comes in and out depending on the weather... so it gets used heaps.
I cropped the shot down so the down size would not take awy as much from the shot.

Howdy
Nice and red, a great result for a $200 scope. It would be a fairly portable setup too I imagine? Great for starparties

Hey Alex,
Nice shot.
I took my first look at Eta Carinae last Saturday. I was really impressed with it. But my Fav is Omega Centauri. Thats one humungous mass of stars.
