4 June 2012 partial lunar eclipse

All the hype about the forthcoming eclipse reminded me I had some photos I took of the partial lunar back in June.

These were all handheld (well, held steady against the chest), EOS 5D MkII, using a Canon USM 28-135mm lens system.

Not the best shot, but back then all I had was a rudimentary 8" Dobsonian mounted Newtonian, so imagery was hand-held only (I tried afocal through the scope once to spectacularly poor results )
