Any GOOD FREE PEC software?

I will probably get PEMPro at the end of the trial, but is there any worthwhile FREE PEC software?

Try pec prep. I used it when I had my Heqpro 5 pretty sure it will work with any mount though.

PECPrep can import a PHD log file. What you do is run a calibration in PHD but with "disable guide output" checked. PHD will run through the calibration routine, and then log movements of the guidestar but without sending any corrections to the mount. You can then import this log file into PECPrep.

I have used this approach with both a HEQ5 and a NEQ6 to good effect.
