NGC 7129 and 7142 - 2 Panel Mosaic
Hello everyone.
A few days ago I posted NGC 7129 on the forum, but since then I have been getting data for the second panel to include the gorgeous open cluster NGC 7142. These two really complement one another I think.
There is an interesting if not rather odd band of Ha that almost seperates the two, so I got a couple hours Ha also to bring that out a little more.
http://www.martinpughastrophotograph...29_NGC7142.jpg
So exposure times are HaLRGB of 9.5:13.5:6:6.5:6 hours for a total of 41.5 hours. Taken with the 17" CDK and U16M.
I hope you like it.
cheers
Martin

The extra panel adds quite a nice perspective to it, and impeccable execution too of course.

That's a great field. There's a bit for everyone in there. Gorgeous multicolour nebula, background galaxies and faint dust all in one. Top notch.

Hi Martin,
What a great mosaic.
I can see quite a few other galaxies clearly showing though too.
The processing & everything about this picture is perfect.
Thanks for sharing.
cheers
Allan.

Fantastic image Martin, even better than the first version. Great colours and lovely smooth background. There are quite a few interesting looking galaxies around also. Just perfect!
