a few weeks ago I was asked to be one of the guest speakers at the 40th Anniversary BAA Horncastle Astronomy Weekend, in the UK.
Who would have thought it? I was humbled and flattered by the offer.
Paul Money put together a slide show of my images to work off and I just had to give a running commentary.

I must say my nerves were jumping all today. This evening we connected via video link up and it was an amazing and surreal experience

. I could see the audience I was talking to, as well as myself.
Those who know me, know I'm a shy and retiring type, but once I started talking about my passion for astronomy, well, everything turned out well.

It was privilege to be a part of their 40th Anniversary celebrations.
I threw a couple of plugs for Ice In Space along the way as well.
