oberwerk wood tripod-with 3/8" mount post but you can change to 5/8" or make your won -(the 3/8" thread is a bit rusty)
legs are a bit stiff to slidde in/out but i have not lubed in any way
sturdy tripod, weight rated at 35lbs -15kg, i dont have a plate for the leg spreader (pretty sure it didn't come with one)
