Cradle Mountain and The Boat Shed

Hi all,
Following on from my panorama http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=96078. This shot was taken a few minutes after I did the images for the panorama. Got lucky with a break in the snow clouds which enabled the sun to bath the mountain in some soft golden hour light. Would have been even better if the cloud was a fraction higher to reveal the entire mountain, but I think I was lucky enough with this.

With Cradle, you've got to take what you can get in terms of the weather - your pickings have been very impressive!

I love those golden tops on mountains dawn landscape images. Is a wonderful effect.

Beautifully done and from what the plaque at Cradle Mountain says about how rarely it is clear there - I'd say you were fairly lucky as well.

Greg.
