How Do I Post Pictures?

How do I post pictures without linking to a website (I dont have one)?

Hi Davo,

Easy as:

When you are at the create/edit post page, look below for "Additional Options". One of those is "Manage Attachments". Click the button and you can browse for your file and then click "upload". A variety of file types are allowed, but they must be <150Kb.

Click on 'go advanced' on this page. Then click on 'manage attachments'

The pic will need to be 150 kb's or less & JPG's are easiest to deal with.

Thanks ponders. Should the other SW fragments be in view? Are they out of frame or too small to see? I noticed SW moved a little in each shot in relation to the background stars. If skies clear up down here I might try to make a short clip showing this movement.

well it dose sound easy, but if you are better at shots, but have no idea of computers and their URL's, which to me stands for, with all truth, i have no idea..........????

I tried it once, and it told me your URL was wrong. end of story

I'd say the the B fragment is well out of shot. I f you check towards the end of the SW thread that is going in the Observational Astronomy forum, Fringe_dweller pointed out fragment B in the widefield shot I posted.

Superb shot Davo, very very nice indeed -

As Paul said the other fragments are out of the shot - got a wider lens? Pauls shot with the second component has blown me away - I have never seen a shot like it!
It would be over a hundred years at least? since you could take a single shot like that with two dusty comets prominent (even if they are related) in a 50 mm lens!!! only seen mosiacs till now.
as the fragments get closer to earth (mid may closest) they appear wider and wider apart to us on earth, and then as they move away - say by the end of may they will be much closer together from our view! we could be seeing comet nirvana in the next two weeks! fingers crossed
