of late nearly every time i have a look at your images they seem to be of a different flavour. its a nice piece of work

Wonderful, the "whale" seems to have a definite 3D look, absolutely wonderful.

Thanks guys for the feedback... not sure whether I'm converging on a standard processing method...but have to say presenting the disk data in negative does have more of a 3D look.
