Stereo Microscope, 10X to 20X & 40X to 80X

Hi all,

Selling my Industrial and Scientific Supply Co. stereo microscope. This microscope is in very good condition, having been a stalwart in my work over 10 years from new.

It has a zoom magnification range of 10X to 20X. I had a 52mm thread milled into the lens cowling to accept 52mm filters to protect the objective lenses. It currently has a 52mm Hoya UV filter in place and there is a second Hoya filter as a replacement.

The lenses, eye and objective, are all in very good condition with the coatings all intact. The paint around the eyelenses is a little worn from use. Both eyepiece turrets are individually moveable and the left eyepiece has a dioptic focuser.

The stage's disection plate is reversible to allow for either a white or black background. The stage is also machined ready to accept a light source.

Asking $150, plus postage. Or pick up from Sydney.

I've found another pair of eyepieces that came with this microscope. These are 20X eyepieces that will give a range of magnification of 40X to 80X. These have never been used and come with the Allen key for the set screws in the eyepiece holder.

Happy to add them to the microscope for the same price.

How much is involved in adding a light source?

Actually, very easy.

I've been looking for another light source for my sketching and I've come across this dual gooseneck light. I have the same dual lamp gizzmo, but with red LEDs, and it is incredibly bright. This white light lamp would be perfect. Just mount the battery pack onto the neck of the microscope and bend the goosenecks into position. Much easier and cheaper than any other system I've seen.

Finally, it's found a new home.

Joe, many thanks and enjoy!
