Aug 27th H-alpha sun

Lots of things are coming together nicely with my Solar rig now.

With filters tuning on band, no hot-spots and way less work to get a full solar hemisphere, I have to say I'm reasonably pleased with this image

Nice one peter, looks like the grasshopper is doing a good job, how would you rate that camera against a DMK?

Ta. Wouldn't have a clue. Never used a DMK.

But compared to the Skynyx: poor software/hardware documentation, slightly better noise supression, and bigger chip size = fewer mosaic panels. In short, a bigger hammer.
