Couple from my Astrofest bag - Corona Australis and M33

Only being at Astrofest 3 nights, and with the undesirable combination of cloud, fog, and some light reflections ruining several hours' worth of data, I didn't come away with as many keepers as I'd hoped. Here are the first 2 I've processed.

M33 Triangulum Galaxy, Lum only as clouds prevented the RGB being completed. Still, quite happy with the result. 1600px version here

NGC6726 Corona Australis. Beautiful region, always wanted to capture it. Odd crop is due to light reflections bottom left. 1600px version here

Very nice. Shame about the crop due to reflections though. I think you'd still be better off getting a better aspect ratio by cropping a bit off the left side. Its a good image.

Greg.

The Corona shot's a keeper Troy! Nice work.

Are you getting some colour on M33? Should be a ripper if you do.

Cheers, Marcus

Thanks guys. The CrA data looked great to me, so was bitterly disappointed it was ruined in the corner. If I'm so inclined, I'll post the rainbow version for you Josh

Marcus - thanks. Don't think I'll get to add colour in the near future. Pretty low target as you know, and can't even see it from my horizon at home. Was looking forward and hoping the clouds would be kind on the nights after I got the lum, but it wasn't to be.

M33 is a cracker of an image. You've processed it beautifully too. Detail all the way to the core.
Corona Australis is nice too. I love that tiny loop near the reflections. The little glob though is burnt out, but that's easily fixed if you do a repro.
