Snyscan Polar Alignment Routine

I have updated my Synscan hand controller and tested the polar alignment routine. It seems to work OK on my HEQ5 for astrophotography with guiding. I was wondering if anyone else has tried it and estimated its accuracy?

Hi,

I have not an accuracy figure for that Beta release, but I have found that repeated iterations of it would progressively reduce the reported error it gives you each time.

Cheers

I was getting exposures of a few minutes without any trailing, and without drift aligning.
I just repeated the procedure 3 times and it was pretty tight.
