M16 first HaLRGB attempt

With all this great weather I've been able to gather quite a bit of LRGB and Ha data of M16. This is my first attempt at blending some narrowband data into the LRGB image - not sure if I'm doing this right but having quite a bit of fun experimenting at this stage. This image is 12x10 mins Ha blended with 28x5mins Lum (67%/33%) and 6x5mins RGB taken over two nights using the QSI683 and 10" Newt.

Comments and advice welcomed.

Thats a really nice image Peter. You have pulled out some fine detail. Not qualified to give advice, suspect there are others better able to on this forum but a great first. I like it.

Interesting and promising experiment, Peter. I'm still struggling valiantly with Ha blending so I'm not offering advice either How come you didn't add any Ha to your Red?

Lovely resolution of the fine details. I was also thinking you could add some Ha to R channel.

Thanks Rick - no reason I didn't add Ha to red apart from I'm still trying to work out what I should be doing with it.

Your photo looks great, though, like the others, it is an area of imaging I haven't had the courage yet to attempt.
