Mine would have to be Metallica's 'Live S***; Binge and Purge" San Francisco gig..
Followed closely by G3's Rockin in the free world (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwe Malmsteen), absolutely amazing virtuoso guitar work..

performed by paco de lucia, john mcglauchlin and al dimeola.... all trying to oudo each other.... absolute mastery of the guitar and one of the greatest technical and sounding recordings ever made.... you can believe you were there in the front row!

My favourite varies from week to week.
One thing I can't fathom is why Australians value OS music more than our own, so I'll toss in my favourite Australian titles.
ACDC live at Dodington.
Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs Jailhouse Rock Live at Boggo Road Jail
The Angels This is it folks, live at Latrobe Uni
Electric Mary, Long Time coming live at the Garlic club.
Birtles Shorrock, Gobles, Full circle (not the Little River Band but they sure as hell sound like it)

Well, you specified live, so ... Kate Ceberano and Her Septet
Runner up is a tie between Cheap Trick - Live at Budokan and Gary Moore - Blues Alive.
Edit: I'm restricting myself to albums I own.

I have a bootleg (oops!) of Led Zep c.1976 in LA which I listen to alot.
And one of Elton John c. 1974 in Vancouver. Ditto.
But by far my fave is "Nirvana Unplugged".Not a bootleg, but, IMO one of the most accomplished and honest performances by any band.
Try it.
You'll like it!
