8" Newtonian solar filter

To fit Saxon brand preferably (although I'm sure 8" solar filters are universally sized). Thanks!

Hi, I have a Thousand Oaks glass solar filter that fit the 10" tube of my 8" Celestron Dob. Is it your tube or mirror that is 8"???

Solar filter

Why not make your own. I've made solar filters for three telescopes and all work fine. I simply purchased the material from http://www.dracoproductions.net/baad...r_material.htm
and followed their instructions.
So much cheaper that buying a comercially made filter.

Sorry, my mirror is 8" (203mm) thanks. I will have to measure the tube across but it would be very close to 10".
