Universe (Text Book) - A great all-rounder

Hi,

I purchased two copies of this for my studies (yeah, weird I know) and I need to get rid of one. It's never been used, mint condition, and comes with the Starry Night CD.

Universe, 9th Edition, Freedman et al.
Starry Night, Enthusiast, v6.3

- $70 (incl. postage within Australia)

It's a text book but makes for a very easy read. Would be fantastic for anyone wanting to learn more about what they are observing and photographing. Has information covering the formation of stars, galaxy formation, planet searching, radio astronomy, celestial co-ordinate systems, phases of the moon, black holes, etc.

Takes you from a basic introduction all the way through to some quite in-depth science. This is the prescribed textbook for the SAO post-graduate course (Swinburne Astronomy Online) that I am doing.

You can see more about the book here on Amazon and even have a flick through it.
