NGC 6334 - Cat's Paw - long exposure

yet trying long time exposure, now with Cat's Paw Nebula
In the enhancement I used 8 m 30 s of B/W with pseudo red filter from Canon to boost red channel in Photoshop.

(no real filters, no coma correction, no guinding)

GSO 305 mm - Canon Rebel XT - iso 1600 - 20 m 59 s 42 frames (30 s)

medium scale

Hi Jorge,

That's worked really well!

Never thought of trying so many short subs, but that's done the job.

Great work!!

Cheers,

Justin.

Thanks, Justin. In fact, the total number of frames was got in two days: 06 e 09.
I need use short time of subs because I haven't guiding yet. And I use a GSO 305 mm over a NEQ6 mounting, on its weight limit. Therefore there aren't a coherent PE file to generate a PEC.

With 30 s subs I lose 25 % of total frames, because of any minimum drift
