Saturn 27Jul fair seeing

Hi
The clouds broke for about 20 minutes this evening and provided a look at Saturn in usable seeing - at last. The seeing was quite unusual, with a pretty good red channel, fair green channel and blue data that was so bad it was almost unstackable - have never seen such a spread in quality. Consequently, the image is RRGB, so it has some colour distortion and reduced C ring visibility. Interesting extended spot on the southern edge of the green ribbon region. Thanks for looking.
regards Ray

Hi Ray

Looks good to me. A nice, detailed, well defined and contrasty image; can’t ask for much more than that!

Cheers

Dennis

A quality result Ray inspite of the variation between channels.
It seems that, even with Saturn still at very convenient alt, the conditions continue to frustrate.

Well done
Regards
Trevor
