My first post in this section

Hello everyone, I know this is probably pretty unimpressive, but you have to understand this is only a first test shot with the new kit ive added, plus its the first image ive done in over six months as we have had wall to wall cloud here in the U.K. and last night was the first clearish imagable night. Im seriously lacking in vitamin D

The kit worked like a dream this is IC 5070 4x900s in H-alpha, very little in processing just curves and levels, no bias or dark frames, just calibrated with flats.....which were over exposed.....im not really selling this one am i

thanks for looking
Peter
Sorry forgot to add its taken with my AG12 and Starlight Xpress H35

Wow Peter!

Wish my images were that unimpressive.

Nice bit of kit you have there, I'm just a tad jealous.

Cheers,

Justin.

A great way to end the imaging drought, Peter! You can just make out the jet of Herbig-Haro 555 at the tip of the pillar on the right.

Cheers,
Rick.

thanks everyone, this was only intended as test shot. I will probably start again with fresh data when i have my new mount up and running, the guiding was a little ropey after adding the extra weight to the scope. Im hoping in a couple of weeks, fingers crossed

Great to see you here and a glorious image Peter, love the scale. I miss Cygnus and its nebula gems.

John.

That's a very nice IC5070. No substitute for good data.

Cheers
