Milky Way Time Lapses with soundtrack

I put together a few Milky Way Time Lapses I shot at the same time as the recent mosaics I posted here.

I also wrote, performed and recorded the sound track.

Nikon D800E, Nikon 14-24mm at 14mm and 21mm F2.8. 30 second exposures at ISO6400.

Lightroom 4.2, Nikon Movie Editor.

Very nice Greg - some great scenes. I love the last sequence but I guess your white balance caused it to become really blue as daylight came.

Just a suggestion, you should give your video a better name on Vimeo, rather than "C:UsersGregVideosTime LapsesMilky Way Time Lapse"

Were these all shot using the in-camera timelapse function?

Thank Mike. I changed the name!

Yes its a bit blue. I should redo the processing of that part. Its not the white balance its the post processing.

All done using the in camera time lapses.

I plan on shooting one in RAW now I have Lightroom.

My fav is the Magellanic clouds with the SCP just above those trees. The composition and motion is just right in that sequence.
Not too sure about the sound track though.

Thanks. I think I'll shoot a longer time lapse of the Magellanic Clouds to help me with identifying the patterns around the SCP. Its quite graphic.
LOL yes the sound track isn't too good a match I agree.

I like it, just long enough to keep one interested. The imaging is amazing. The music is good too very dramatic to match the dramatic view

Hi Greg,

Beautiful looking timelapses.

I think the music is a great match for the visuals...dramatic with a "space" feel.

Ross.
