Alt/Az base

Maybe this has been discussed before. I'm looking for a simple solution to piggyback my QHY9 on top of my newt so I can do Ha while imaging color at prime. Now I have the ring and camera mounting sorted out. The only thing I need to do is point the QHY9 to the center of the field I image with the newt. So without breaking the bank is there an existing small tilt base I could insert between the camera mounting ring and the scopes ring so I can have a basic pointing system. Doesn't have to tilt massively. Just enough freedom to point in the same area. I think a ball joint will be too weak and flexible. The QHY9+ring+lens is about 800g. Thanks for any pointers.

Hi Marc

I built something like that a few years ago from bits that you can now buy from Bunnings. It had a much lower profile but I can't remember what I used it for or where it is now.

How about a suped up version of this

Thanks! Just had a brain fart. I remembered I have one of these already from the Hotech collimator. Forgot about it. Will put it to good use.
