Attaching an ed80 to a c9.25"

I would like to mount my ED 80 on top of my c9.25" which is mounted via a vixen dovetail to a NEQ6 mount. However looking at the bolts attaching the dovetail bar to the c9..25" I have concerns about the extra weight as the Ed80 is quite heavy ( about 3kg ) .Has anyone any suggestions. Am I worrying over nothing?

I have a Williams Optics Megrez 80mm mounted on top of my carbon fibre C9.25; and WO refractors aren't light!

I put Losmandy dovetails on the C9.25 to attach it to the mount, and put the larger 4" wide orange dovetail rail on the top of the OTA. Then I put Losmandy 100mm "O" rings on the top dovetail and slide the refractor in there.

I am not sure how wide a vixen dovetail is, but I think 4" wide is a minimum when you are mounting one or more heavy scopes!
