Skywatcher Pro Series ED80 Dew Shield

Can anyone tell me how the dew shield attaches/detaches on a Skywatcher Pro Series ED80 (Gold tube)?

If I try to unscrew the dew shield, the front cell of the scope unscrews. If it does unscrew its very tight, but I don't want to force it in case I break it if it attaches some other way.

Can anyone post a pic of their ED80 with the dew shield removed so I can see how it attaches?

I have just received a nice shiny new Lunt LS60F and I need to make an adapter. It is much heavier than the SM40, so rather than the adapter fitting to the dew shield like the SM40 adapter, I thought I'd see if its better to support it direct from the cell... hence the question.

Al.

It just pulls off (press fit) and it is better to attach an adapter directly to the cell - the ed100 dew shield screws on.
