Some late Sun - from Monday 18 June

Hi all,
Some Ha images from Monday of this week - I was pretty happy with the disc image - 4 panel mosaic with the Lunt60 and DMK31 at prime focus - this is my best to date - conditions were poorish but I was able to get even illumination across the 4 panels. Looking forward to more attempts.

Interesting features

Matt,
Nice capture, I would of loved to see the prominence in motion. It looks amazing.

Thanks Trent - Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to see the changes - my session was short - next time out I will hide from the world and spend a day in the Sun!!!!

Super work there Matt, love the resolution. The fine detail with the proms is just so crisp, very impressive and with the disc, it looks like a formation of galahs or cockies are flying across.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks again - my next project will be a 4 panel disc with the 60 double stacked. I hope to get disc features and proms in the one snap. (I will work harder on focus and taking the images close to each other in time / settings).
Once I have done this to the best of my ability.....many months..... it will be onto a mosaic with a 2.5 Powermate (I guess that will be about 9 panels?)
