This will likely get lost in the noise of every other Venus shot out there. But here it is anyway, my contribution.
Gentlemen and ladies this is as much your photo as it is mine. I've been at this new hobby for less than 4 weeks. I want to thank you all, those who helped, those who sold me the various bits of gear, those who lent me things to try out and even gave me eyepieces. It's cliché but in this case this picture really wouldn't have been possible without your help.
Well Chris I think you've done a dam fine job and yes the IIS crew here are a very generous and helpful lot and your image here is a perfect example of that, well done.
