Accidental eclipse

With all the worrying about clear skies for Wednesday I had forgotten all about the lunar eclipse. Went out to practise focussing and test the gear for the Venus transit and was greeted with an eclipsed Moon

This was shot with an f/7 80ED, 2x teleconverter and D7000, at ISO1600 and 1/500s.

Indeed. While I was schlepping the tripod, mount etc outside the Moon was still full, by the time I found my T-adapter, extension tubes and cable release it had a bite taken out of it.
